Shelter Dogs For 5 years, I did a “day spa” program twice a month for dogs from the shelter. We came home for a fun day, a break from the shelter, and a chance for me to observe the dog in a home setting. The next day, I made a video, edited pictures, and wrote an evaluation for shelter staff and a profile for the public APS website. We had over 70 visitors to our day spa!
